Nissan Repair: sqeaking noise from my car, nissan altima, uneven pavement

Question
I RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2002 NISSAN ALTIMA. aFTER ABOUT A WEEK iI NOTICED A SQUEAKING NOISE COMING FROM UNDER MY CAR WHEN I DRIVE OVER ANY TYPE OF UNEVEN PAVEMENT. IT SOUNDS AS IF SOMETHING IS LOOSE. IT EVEN SQEAKS WHEN I CLOSE MY DRIVERS SIDE DOOR. I FIRST THOUGHT CRACKED FRAME BUT ITS MORE OF O SQEAK NOT A GRINDING SOUND. COULD IT BE SHOCKS OR STRUTS MAYBE CALIBERS. PLEASE CHIME IN.

Answer
Myron,

Probably the spring pad bushings.  Get some WD40 and spray at the top and bottom of the springs, up front, and it should go away until they get wet.  If it is driving you nuts you could replace the rubber pads but that means taking the struts out to get the springs off to replace the pads.  And, then you will need an alignment.  So, if it is not too bad I would lube them.  My Maxima did the same thing for a time and it went away.
