Nissan Repair: 2000 maxima blower fan, automatic climate control, excess load

I have a 2000 maxima and the fan will not turn on/blow.  I can hear the diverter working if I go from normal to recirculate but not fan with heater or AC.

There are three choices here.  First is the blower motor fuse being blown, the second is the blower being worn out and the third is the control panel itself that could be bad.  I would check things in that order since the fuse is the first thing and the second thing is the blower.  The control panel is last resort.  Now, if you have automatic climate control that could be blown too.  But, since you say the diverter working I would think the fuse or blower.  And, if the fuse is blown that means that the blowers bearings are getting tight and the excess load took the fuse out.  So, you would be replacing the blower anyway.
