Nissan Repair: Slip Light, nissan titan, 2005 nissan titan

2005 Nissan Titan King Cab LE 4WD 5.6L.2300 miles.the slip light keeps coming on after about 50m, what is the trouble code and what causes it to light up.     Jack

If the slip light is on there is a sensor that is defective or sensing that the differential is not locking properly.  If yours is a 2005 the dealer will check out the rear end and correct the problem.  Could be as simple as a shorted wire in the back.  I seem to remember there being something from Nissan on this one.  Check out nhtsa.gov for the service bulletins on your truck and you can see what else is written up that might need looking into.
