Nissan Repair: 95 Nissan Altima, fuel pressure gauge, nissan altima

Question
I have a 95 Nissan Altima SE. It stalled on me 4 times today. Each time the AC was on and it stalled while I was begining to accelerate from a stop. The first 3 times I was able to put it in neutral and it started right back up. The last time I put it in neutral and tried to start it, but it would just turn over. I pulled over and let it sit for a minute and it started right up. I drove it a couple of blocks with no problems. Check engine light has been on for a couple of months and I believe it's the front oxygen sensor (replaced back sensor a year ago). Sounds like a fuel problem, but not sure if it's a fuel pump, throttle sensor, or fuel filter. Any suggestions?

Answer
John,

Check the fuel pressure by screwing on a fuel pressure gauge.  Drape it under the hood and tape it to the windshield and drive the car.  If the presure drops off you know it is the pump or relay.  I would check the code to see what is going on with the system too.  And, if the fuel filter has not been replaced in the last couple of years I would replace that too.
