Mazda: Relay/Fuel cut switch on 1985 Mazda RX7, fuel pump relay, resistance test

Question
I am helping a young lady fix her 1985 Mazda RX7.  I am a mechanic but Mazda's are not my specialty.  Please tell me where the fuel cut switch is on this vehicle.  It turns over but won't start.  Changed the fuel filter and spark plugs as they were nasty but don't want to spend money on a fuel pump if not necessary.  Am getting 15 ohms resistance test for fuel pump.  Check voltage at connector for fuel pump with key on and only had 1/1000 of a volt.  So believe fuel pump relay/cut switch is bad but can't find it.  Please help me help her.  She is a 21 year old student working her way thru nursing school and like our daughter.  Thank you for any help you can give.

Answer
If one existed it's news to me.  I no longer have a resource file for the 1st generation RX7 so I can't research to tell you where one (if one) existed.

The system as best as I can recall included a relay and the pump.  I cna't recall where is it mounted but, think under the dash drivers side.  Considering it's age and length of out of service time based on the filter condition it might be a safe bet the pump has failed.  You should be able to place  jumper in the diagnostics control to place the pump in full run mode to flow testing.  No flow, bad pump.

Sorry I can't help more than this.  Been way too long since I had my hands on a 1st generation though a good machine not the most reliable.
