I would like to know where to start looking. The brake lights on my sons car wont go off and turn signals wont work. I have checked fuse panels and bulbs. Any suggestions?

The flasher is either unplugged or shorted. It is usually located near the driverside fuse panel inside the car. But this might be outside under the hood in the power block. It is a rectangle looking thing. It could be a number of different colors and has a "T" shaped, three prong connecter to it. I tried to find a locater on it, but was unable to. If you have the owners manual, it should show it in there. Sometimes, when a stereo is in stalled or other electrical equipment, the installer will inadvertently splice into the flasher power line and cause this. You may want to check the wires going into the flasher also. Hope this helps. If you need more info, please resubmit...
