Nissan Repair: Radio, and A/C, altima gxe, radio manufacturer

Question
I just bought a 1998 Altima GXE. 5spd. I have two issues that I need help with.
1)My radio buttons (with the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6) are loose. They can come off easily. How can I fix that?
2)The A/C works, but not cold enough. Also, the A/C which has 4 levels doesn't work or blow any air on levels 1 & 2. I have to put it on 3 or 4 in order to blow air, this is the same case with the heater. Any ideas on how to repair that?

Please send me an answer on my e-mail

I appreciate your assisstance and Thank you

Answer
James,

Nissan uses Clarion as a radio manufacturer and they are known for problems with the buttons.  You can either find one at a wrecking yard or get an aftermarket unit.  Aftermarket is the way to go since you can purchase one and get it installed for a little over $100 bucks.

The blower problem is related to the resistor that the fan switch funs through.  The resistor box is located under the dash on the passenger side.  Purchase a new one and you will know what you are looking for.
