Nissan Repair: a/c on and off knob, nissan xterra, fan switch

I have 2001 Nissan Xterra. A/c would not work by turning on the knob to # 1, 2 and 3, but it works on # 4. What could be the problem?

Hi Sonny,

This is a bad fan switch. If you resubmit I can give you the part number. I need to know what model you have and production date. You can find the production date on a white tag just below the "A" piller in the door jam on the driver's side, though sometimes they have it at the "B" piller at the door ceil right around the latch.
