Nissan Repair: braking, shop friend, navie

I have a 2001 Frontier reg. cab 4cyl 5spd 141,000 miles. I had front brakes put on in the begining of July, from that point on when I put the brakes on I get one fairly loud click or snap coming from the front,  this only happens on occasion, I can't tell if its coming from one of the front wheels or not before I bring it back to the guy who put them on I was trying to get an idea of what it is, I realize this is a "shot in the dark question" Thanks, Rich

Hi Rich,

I had this too as I had the owner of a shop friend of mine do the brakes on my Navie. There is a clip that goes in the caliper that they left out when they did your brakes as my guy did with mine. Easy fix, nothing to worry about. Your brakes would be ok forever if you want to live with the click. But, if your like me, not! LOL I took it back and he had the click noise gone in an hour.
