Nissan Repair: 1996 Nissan Sentra Rough Idle, nissan sentra, valve plugs

As a follow up to a prior email you provided on cleaning the Sentra idle air valve, what is the process for cleaning it?  We recently cleaned the throttle and replaced the idle air valve, plugs and spark plugs, and the rough idle improved.  However, it intermittently still surges between 500 and 1000 rpm when idling at stop lights, etc.

If the throttle and idle air valve were cleaned I would look to make sure there are no cracks in the intake hose between the throttle body and air meter.  Also, replace the PCV valve.  These are the most common problem with the jumping idle.
