Nissan Repair: fuse problem?, nissan sentra, sun visors

Hi. I have a 2001 Nissan Sentra 2.0SE. About two years ago the lights on the gear shifter went out. It was then followed by the power locks (the remote for locking and unlocking the doors and opening the trunk suddenly stopped working too), then the lights on the vanity mirrors of the sun visors and also the stock alarm. is this a fuse problem? HELP!!!

It is probably to do with the fuses or an overload that is popping them.  Be sure to check the master fuses at the battery.  Now, also check the bulbs as these do tend to go out sooner since everyone is trying to save money.  That is, the manufacturers are going with cheaper bulbs that burn out sooner.
