Nissan Repair: 92 Nissan 300ZX clutch, nissan 300zx, clutch pedal

Question
hi, I just recently purchased a clutch kit and had my old clutch replaced, after being driven for about 500 miles it would not hold pressure, so I had the clutch slave and master cylinder replaced and I drove my Z for about 600 more miles and again it lost pressure, the clutch pedal just falls to the floor. Even though the clutch kit came with all new parts, is it possible that the pressure plate is bad.

Answer
Rodney,

If the clutch pedal falls to the floor I would check to see if the clutch master and slave have gone bad.  If you did not buy new they were rebuilt and these do have failures.  Also, when you bleed it again use Ford high Performance Brake Fluid for a firm pedal.  I do not think the clutch could have gone bad and it is to do with the master or slave cylinders.
