Nissan Repair: Interior lighting, timer control, back lighting

Question
I'm sorry to bother you again, Sir, but the only answer I got to my question was "I have already answered this question for you once before."  I will ask again in the hope that you will be kind enough to answer again.
The interior lights and chimes didn't work in the 95 Quest I just bought. Fuses under dash are fine. Yesterday the lights came on but would not shut off when I closed the doors. I had to pull the fuse. The front dome light works manually.  The rear doesn't work at all.  I've been told to check the timer control module but I don't know where to look for it or how to test it. I have checked each door switch.
Also, the dash panel light does not work.  All other indicator lights are fine. Can you please point me in the right direction to fix the interior lightning, chimes and dash light?  Thanks so much!!  J. Leeder

Answer
Joe,

I am sorry for the problem with the response.  The question was posted on my access several times and I did answer it but deleted the repeated questions.

I would first check the door switches to make sure that they all work properly.  You could have one going out and that would cause the issue.  The back lighting is not connected to the light up front for the manual mode and that is why they do not light up when you turn it on in the front.  The other issue that could cause the problem is the timer control and you can source one of these and replace that since it is a plug and play installation.  Lastly, if the instrument lights do not come on it is probably the dimmer switch, on the dash, for the instrument lights, that has gone out.
