Nissan Repair: Faulty Indicator, boot lid, turn indicator

Question
Hi,

I drive a Primera Sport+ year 2000.  Recently the right turn indicator has been flashing fast meaning a bulb needs replacing.  When I checked whether the front, side or rear bulb was at fault, all three were flashing fast.  Can you tell me how to determine which is the faulty bulb.  I have had problems recently with a fuse that kept blowing, my interior lights, clock or boot lid wouldn't work.  Bizarrely that has now rectified itself.

Thank you in advance for any advice you can give.

Louise

Answer
Hi Louise -

First of all I would check all the sockets for a bad connection or ground, start with the front signal. Sometimes the socket itself provide completion of the circuit, and it needs to be seated tightly.

Then check the wires itself, one at a time. Somewhere it is losing a connection.

Are you doing this yourself, do you have a 12V circuit test light?

Aloha
