Nissan Repair: Clutch Master / Slave leak. Install of wrong brake fluid., clutch master cylinder, silicone brake fluid

Question
Hey pal,
I'm a do-it-yourselfer and i've been workin on my Nissan 300zx NA(2-seat)since i bought it about 3 years ago.it's got 124k miles on it and it adds up, that maitenance+tickets+breakdowns arent worth the speed & agility that the 300 brings. But it's still a kick ass car. Anyways, shortly after installing a new ACT clutch, i [intoxicatedly] threw in DOT5 Full synthetic Silicone brake fluid in my clutch master cylinder; re-bled the system and drove off....that same day when i became sober, i remembered DOT3 isnt supposed to be that THICK...and PURPLE...so i flushed out the old fluid and put in the DOT3...apparently around 2 months later, my clutch system starts leaking. a couple weeks after that period, its getting horrible. The clutch master cylinder leaks from the pushrod rubber seal, down to the clutch pedal, and the slave master cylinder is leaking horribly from TAHT pushrod as well.I'm thinking that thick fluid being forced in the clutch lines might've loosened the rubber seals on the pushrods...is there SOME OTHER WAY THAN REPLACING THE MASTER/SLAVE CYLINDERS! THIS CAR'S PUTTIN ME BACK IN THE HOLE! I NEED HELP ASAP!
                                   -thanks!

Answer
Alex,

You will have to rebuild what you have or buy rebuilts as the DOT 5 killed all the rubber in the system.  Now, before you change parts flush with Ford high Performance Brake fluid.  It is DOT 3 but it has twice the boiling point and you will love it.  But, you still have to do the changeout.
