Nissan Repair: Xterra Power window, master switch, xterra

The driver side front power window will not close, go up that is, without constant attempts. It goes down fine. All other windows work fine.

It sounds like the master switch has failed.  If you bridge the switch and the window goes up you have found the problem.  If it does not go up then it is the motor.  Shadetree diagnosis is replace the master switch first and if that does not do the trick then replace the window motor.
