Nissan Repair: Dashboard lights and Rear parking lights, dashboard lights, nissan altima

I have a 94 Nissan Altima SE.

Recently my dashboard lights and rear parking lights decided they no longer wanted to work. I checked the fuse and it had blown, so I replaced it witha 15A fuse. Everything was working again for about 15 minutes into my drive, then it all blacked out. I replaced the fuse again and the same thing happened. How can I trouble shoot this to locate where the short is?

The master switch on the column is going out and that is where all the circuits tie together.  If it were just the dash lights I would say the dimmer.  But, since both are going out and the fuse is blowing I would recommend the master switch on the column.
