My 1990 nissan Stanza doesn't have heat what do I do and how much is it going to cost me? I don't know anything about cars. It is almost winter and it is going to be really cold can you help me please?

I do not know if it is the heater that has been looped.  Check the hoses under the hood.  There will be two hoses that go into the firewall.  If these are there then I would assume the heater is getting water.  It might be plugged up and have to be cleared.  Some people use stop leak and it will plug a heater.  Other items are the blend door is not moving to the heat position and the actuator would have to be replaced. The cost of a heater core is about $100 bucks with another $300 to $500 in labor.
