Nissan Repair: stalling when accelerating, throttle valve, position switch

Question
My truck runs fine if you drive it light footed, but,if you step into it it is
like ign. or fuel just cuts out!!! Then when you pull your foot back out, the
motor picks back up! New cap/rotor to plugs. Code 24 comes up.Catalytic
converter is flowing!!Tach. quit @ same time.(One day tach. came on and it ran
perfect!!)Ground somewhere??? Is it Possesed??? (also new fuel pump
but,aftermarket) Any ideas???  Thanks!!!

Answer
Terry,

The coe 24 is the throttle valve switch.  Replace it and that part should be done.  The tach is either the tach, wiring or the connection at the coil.  Problem is, that is where the computer picks up the RPMs.  So, if the tach is defective and shorting out the computer will go nuts and do what you describe.  Change the throttle position switch first.
