Nissan Repair: electrical, blower motor resistor, heater fan

I have a 2001 frontier. The AC/heater fan only works in the #4 position, 1-3 does not work.
It happened all of a sudden, no trouble prior.
What do I need to do?

Change the blower motor resistor.  Go and buy one and then you will know what you are looking for.  It is located on the passenger side under the dash.  basically disconnect the old one and connect the new one and you will have all blower speeds.
