Nissan Repair: Horn stopped working, 2001 Sentra GXE, defective component, test light

About 2 months ago, doesn't work with keyless entry or pressing on the steering column.  It stopped rather suddenly.  Can I inspect, fix it myself or do I need to take it in?  No other problems of note.

Check the horn wiring with a test light and have someone press the horn and see if it lights.  To do this disconnect the horn and install the testlight on the wire and touch ground.  If it lights replace the horn.  If not check the fuse and relay and replace the defective component.
