Nissan Repair: 92 pathfinder headlights, high beams, headlight switch

Hi,
My pathfinder (1992) has some issues with the headlights... When I start the truck, the left driving light comes on and the right stays off. When I turn the lights on (night time driving) the right light comes on and the left light turns off. If I use the high beams, both lights work. I have no idea what is going on. I replaced the bulbs and nothing changed and I don't know what to do next.

Change the headlight switch.  It is really easy to change since the steering wheel does not have to come off.  Take the column cover off and replace the switch and the headlights will work again.  When you rotate the switch there are contacts that connect.  Yours are getting old and not making contact.
