Nissan Repair: engine stumble, air inlet hose, crankshaft position sensor

Question
I have a 1986 Nissan 300zx turbo, standard transmission. I was driving the car when it just lost all power. It still idles well and starts easy. It just wants to die if I just crack the throttle.I checked the fuel pressure(35psi), the timing is right, checked the throttle position switch and set it. If I shut the car off and start it right away it will run well for about 10 seconds. I have changed the plugs , cap, and rotor. I am thinking possible crankshaft position sensor or maybe fuel regulator. Any help or direction would be great. Thanks Rob

Answer
Check the air inlet hose between the air meter and the throttle body for cracks.  If there are cracks you are getting unmetered air.  Replace the hose if there are and the problem should be solved.  If that is not the problem check the distributor for oil in the optical pickup.  If there is replace the distributor
