Nissan Repair: Question about Satellite Radio?, 2004 nissan maxima, nissan maxima

  I currently own a 2004 Nissan Maxima.From what I understand, it is XM Satellite ready. Does this mean, I can just subscribe to the service and boom it works or do I have to get seperate equipment to get the XM to work.

You have to go to nissan and for a little over $100 bucks they will sell you the external receiver and antenna that has to be installed for the service to work.  Your head unit is ready but the additional equipment has to be installed to get the signal into the head unit.  Cehck out courtesynissan.com on-line for a deal.  If you do not live in Texas it is tax free.  They sell stuff at jobber so you pay less and no tax.  I have not had any trouble in dealing with them.
