Nissan Repair: Headlights, nissan 300zx, headlight switch

87 Nissan 300zx nonturbo coupe. The headlights in this car flicker off every once and a while while driving down the road. also the passenger side bright beem does not work. it is not the bulb.

also when speeding up the ac blows hot air
any help?

The headlight problem is the headlight switch.  Change the switch and the problem will go away.  This is the combination switch that the turn signal indicators are a part of.  Take the cover off the column and remove the switch and replace it.  No need to remove the steering wheel so that is a plus.  The airconditioner is designed to turn the compressor off when you accelerate.  This gives you more power to pass.
