Nissan Repair: electrical problem, throttle position sensor, car work

Question
i own a 6/90 z32 3.0L V6 non-turbo 300zx.   It starts and idols when cold, but after a few minutes just cuts out and can't kick over again.   After it cut out i checked for spark and there was none.  I looked at the computer for a fault code and came up with fault code 21.   What does this mean and how can I fix it?

Answer
Toby,

I think that a code 21 is a throttle position sensor for your year model.  Replace yours and make sure that you install it exactly as yours was in location and you should be close enough to make your car work properly.  Also, disconnect the battery for a few minutes to clear the code.
