Nissan Repair: CHANGING MAXIMA HEADLIGHT, millimeter, headlights

Question
I am trying to change the right headlight.  Took two screws at the top but it does not come out. What else is holding the lamp in? Is this going to be big job?

Answer
Tom,

I assume that you are working on a 2000 through 2003 and you have removed the two ten millimeter bolts at the top and the light will still not come out.  The rest of the assembly is held in with clips.  You have to careefully pull the headlight forward to get it to come out.  Now, if you are just doing the bulbs the headlights do not need to come out.  Go to courtesynissan.com and look at the photographs of a set of headlights out and it gives you an idea of the clips and how they are installed in the car.
