Nissan Repair: Transaxles, nissan 200sx, 1995 nissan 200sx


Question
I have a 1995 nissan 200sx and am pulling the moter without removing the transmision. I have everything off except the passengerside transaxle. Is there anyway to get it off the engine without taking it off the right wheel?
 I am just wondering because I don't have a one and a quarter inch deep well socket.Maybe i'll have to get one....Thank's

Bacically, you need to take the part off to get it out.  Otherwise you would have to seperate the spindle from the strut and the lower control arm and then pull the axle out of the transaxle and that would be more trouble than it would be worth.  I bit the bullet and bought the socket when I did a Maxima...
