Nissan Repair: Audio problem- Bose headunit, nissan pathfinder, side speakers

Hi,
I have a Nissan Pathfinder 2001.  The driver's side speakers work fine with the radio but are fuzzy and raspy when I play a cd.  Any suggestions?  I was going to get new speakers until I realized they were okay with the radio.  Thanks for any help!

I would take the headunit out and take it apart and check for good elecrical connections where the CD player ties into the circuit.  If there is nothing obvious it is probably recommended that you take the headunit to a shop to get it repaired.  If you choose to replace the headunit you have to remember that it has to be adapted since you have a Bose system.  Otherwise the speakers would have to be replaced with the new non-Bose headunit.
