Nissan Repair: 1999 Nissan Maxima - ABS light, wheel spindle, nissan maxima

Question
Due to a collision, my vehicle had the left rear wheel spindle replaced.  When I was to pick up the vehicle, the ABS light was lit, which was not the case when I delivered the auto the repair shop.  They are trying to tell me there is nothing they were doing that would cause the ABS light to go on, as ABS is only on the front wheels of the car.  I think that they had to have done something with the brake system on the rear wheel, but I don't know how they could be related.  Any help you can give me?

Answer
You have four wheel ABS and the rear sensor is broken, the pickup is broken or the wire has been cut.  Take the rear wheel off and look at the wire that goes into the hub and see if you can see if the wire is pulled loose.  You might just have to reset the light if all is well and they screwed up and fired up the electrical when the ABS connector was disconnected.  Check it out and let me know.
