Nissan Repair: nissan clutch replacement, clutch slave cylinder, neutral safety switch

Question
where can i find a how to list for a 85 2wd nissan pick up

Answer
Haynes, Chilton or a factory manual are the best bet.  But, since it is a truck and a @WD it is pretty easy.

First, drain the transmission
Second, disconnect the driveshaft
Third, Disconnect the speedometer cable
Fourth, place a jack under the transmission
Fifth, remove the crossmember
Sixth, remove the clutch slave cylinder and linkage
Seventh, remove the electrical to the transmission as these are the reverse lights and neutral safety switch.
Eighth, take the four bolts that hold the transmission to the bell housing if so equipt.
Nine, remove the starter and bell housing
Now, you have access to the clutch, pressure plate and flywheel.
Follow the instructions with the clutch kit you buy and take you time and when you install the pressure plate make sure you have the flutch facing the flywheel properly and the alignment tool moves in and out freely.  It is vital that you tighten the pressure plate bolts evenly or you will warp it.
