Hi
I Need help on fixing my wiper. Its the left driver side. It does not move. The passager side works. Can you tell me what I need to make the driver side work and how to fix it myself. Is it that easy for a do it yourself job. I believe that it is. Oh if you can just give me a guest of how much it would cost for job as such.

Thanks

Tim

The arm probably fell off inside the cowl box.  Remove the cover and look at the arm to get an idea if it has fallen off or if the end is broke.  You can get one from the wrecking yard to save money or you can buy factory.  It will cost a good penny if you go to the dealer.

My follow up question is. Do you you have if in you store to be purchase on line if it is need and if so how do I put it on. Also if if has fallen off is the a hook or a latch that i just connect it back how does that work. Is the part exspensive to purchase.

Answer
Go to courtesynissan.com on-line and they can help you getting the part cheap.  For a dealer they are pretty responsive and sell at shop rates.  If it is the clip on the end the part should be about $10 bucks for the clip.  If it is the rod that is broken go to a wrecking yard.  The assembly is not difficult to understand and when you install the new clip or rod all you have to do is line up the wiper arm where it should be, in the park position, before you tighten the assembly down.
