Has no acceleration on the hwy,   and it seems to stumble alittle bit when you try to accelerate. In the city it runs great.

This could be as simple as a tuneup or a fuel pump since it has no top end acceleration.  You say in the city it runs great.  Has anyone messed with the timing?  If the timing is off it could cause the problem too.  Lastly, the converter could be clogged up and only showing as a problem on the highway when you are demanding a lot of air be pushed through it when you are on the highway.  I would really need more information as to the condition of the vehicle and maintenance done in the recent past to really narrow it down.
