My front breaks keep going out. And I get a Thump in the rear when I step on the breaks. It seems like the breaks are dragging or slowing the car down at times, and at other times it drives fine. It's got me puzzeled. Thank You Dina Henson

It sounds like you need to go through the brake system on the car and make sure everything is correct.  The rear sounds like a spring is broke and the front sounds like you need to replace the pads and the spring/shim kit.  Also, bleed the brakes with new Ford High Performance Fluid.  You can buy it at Ford but you have to ask for it by name or they will sell you the regular kind.  The nice thing about Ford High Performance Fluid is that it has twice the boiling point of regular brake fluid and it will not harm your system.
