Nissan Repair: Starting, nissan sentra xe, neutral safety switch

Question
I have a '93 Nissan Sentra XE that some of the time will not start in the "PARK" position, but I can put it in "neutral" and then get it to turn over. I recently had a starter problem and replaced the starter. Why do I have this problem and how do I fix it?

Answer
The neutral safety switch is on its way out.  This is located on the transmission and is pretty easy to replace.  Just follow the instructions on getting it aligned properly when you tighten it down.  Follow the shift cable to the top of the transmission on the drivers side of the car.  You can see it from the top.  Go down to Nissan and purchase a replacement.
