Nissan Repair: Dimmer Switch, phillips screws, nissan truck

Question
My left high beam on my '95 Nissan truck does not come on when I use the dimmer switch (is that the right term?).  I replaced the headlight so I know that is not the problem and have checked the fuses.  Should I replace the switch and is that something I can do myself?

Thanks!

Answer
It is the switch and it is easy to change.  Just remove the plastic cover to the steering column and on the left side you will see the two phillips screws that hold it on.  The nice part is the combination switch for the dimmer, headlights and blinker are all on the same assembly so all of these will be renewed when you change the switch.  You do not have to take the steering wheel off so that is the really nice part.
