Nissan Repair: 03 Pathfinder Belt Squeal, center bolt, nissan pathfinder

2003 Nissan Pathfinder LE 2WD

When you turn on the pathfinder, the belt starts squealling. The squealling is only noticable when car is idling. After the car warms up (30 mins) the squealling will usually go away.  This is the first issue with the car. What do you think is the problem and do I need to have this fixed?

The car has 28,000 miles.  I have changed the oil every 3000 miles and rotated the tires every 5000.

With only that many miles on the vehicle I would just tighten the belt up.  Belts, wipers and brakes are not warranty items so I would just tighten the belt myself.  Not that big a job.  Just ahve to loosen the center bolt on the adjustment pulley and then tighten the bolt on the side and then retighten the center bolt.
