Nissan Repair: Sun Roof, worst case scenario, nissan sentra

I had a question on the repair cost for a Nissan Sentra 2000 SE 2.0 Sun Roof. The Sun Roof appears to be offline. When i try to retract it, it will go back fine but when i try to make the sun roof come back out, it seems like it gets a little stuck and i have to help it by pulling it foward just to come back out and close. Now i think the sun roof seals are getting pulled off since it rained the other day and there is a small link now. Do you know how much it would cost to have it repaired? Whats the worst case scenario in expense? I would take it back to the dealer but i would hate to get a huge bill for something i can get repair at another repair shop. Thanks for the help.

There are other body shops that will repair this, besides the dealership..

It does sound as if it did go off track, your rubber seals could be damaged which is probably the cause of the off track along with the leak.
Derek get a manual (in my manual there is a diagram of hte sunroof.  You could fix it yourself by going on the diagram in the book.)
