Nissan Repair: 93 Altima Problems starting a Warm Engine, nissan altima, accelator

Question
Hi Darrel. Thanks for taking the time to look at my question. I have a 93 2.4L Nissan Altima. First off, I have NO problems starting the car from a COLD Start. However after driving the car and doing some errands, i switch the car off for about 10 minutes, then try to start the car up again, it cannot start. During this warm start, the odometer fluctuates between 0 and 500 RPM but cannot turn fully. To fix this, i sometimes have to press down on the accelator just to get it to turn and I have to hold down the accelator just a bit so that the car remains on and does not stall.
If i wait about 20 minutes AFTER these failed attempts, it can start easily.
I took it to one mechanic, he was suggesting that it may be the timing chain which MAY need replacement? There was some rattling in the engine before, which was identified to be a damaged timing-chain-guide that we removed, however, this car-starting-problem still remains.
It could be a combination of things such as a temperature sensor, or problems with the fuel-injector or timing chain which is why I seek some online professional advice on this.
Your opinion and advice on this matter is greatly appreciated.

Answer
Sunny,

Your injectors could be flooding out, which means the injectors aren't any good.
Or
When you changed your timing guide, it could have damaged the timing chain, which means YES your chain does need to be replaced.

I would definately look at the chain first, since you have had problems with the timing guide for some time.  My bet is on the chain.
