Nissan Repair: 1987 NISSAN STANZA, 1987 nissan stanza, amp fuses

Question
HELLO.  MY DAUGHTERS OLDER '87 STANZA HAS A/C PROBLEMS .  TO START WITH I WENT TO JUNK YARD AND CHNGED OUT THE COMPRESSOR, EVACED THE SYSTEM AND RECHARGED WITH NEW OIL AND NEW RECEIVER DRYER.  THE CAR COOLED VERY GOOD FOR ABOUT 5 DAYS OR SO AND THEN THE BLOWER MOTOR WOULD START BVLOWING THE A/C FUSE AND ALSO THE BLOWER FUSES.  I REPLACE THE 15 AMP FUSES AND IT WOULD RUN FOR AWHILE AND BLOW THE FUSE AGAIN AND AGAIN.  WENT BACK TO JUNK YARD AND BOUGHT A SLIGHTLY USED BLOWER AND EVAPORATOR ASSEMBLY BOX AND A BLOWER MOTOR RESIST0R (which seems to have a small black reset button attached to it, by the way ) AND INSTALLED THE BLOWER AND RESISTOR, WHICH PERMITTED THE BLOWER TO WORK , BUT IT HAS BLOWN THE FUSES AGAIN.  NEVER HAD ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS BEFOR UNTIL I INSTALLED THAT USED JUNK YARD COMPRESSOR WHICH SEEMED TO WORK FINE UNTILL THE FUSE VLOWING EPISODES STATRTING HAPPENING AND NOW I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EVEN GET THE BLOWER TO STAY ON.  THERE IS ALSO ANOTHER SMALL ELECTRICAL "BOX"

Answer
James,

I would go back and trace the wires that you hooked up, it's possible there might be some or one on wrong or a bare wire.

If there are not any bare wires it is possible that the a/c compressor that you bought might have problems with it being hot.  Instead of the compressor shutting itself down when hot, it blows the fuse instead (which you know).

Check your coolant fans, if they are not coming on when needed this will also cause the fuses to blow.

Otherwise there is not another small electrical box, that I am aware of.
