Nissan Repair: Bleeding Clutch/AC not working, nissan 240sx, clutch pedal

Question
Hello Darrel, I have two problems on a 1992 Nissan 240sx, the first is that on the "junction box"/"Distribution box" the thick metal line that made a loop was rusted out, so I cut it and replaced  part of it with high pressure fuel injector hose, however i cannot get any clutch pedal, i tried replacing the master cyl. with one out of a 1991 Maxima, but it had the same problem. I believe I may be bleeding something wrong, but i dont know what?

Q#2 A/C doesen't work, the light on the switch doesen't light when depressed, and the compressor does not engage.

Thanks,
Tim

Answer
Tim,

Q#1:
First of all when you replaced the hose, it has to be bleed.  Yes they are self adjusting, but if there is air in the lines it cannot adjust itself.

You'll have to follow the same steps of bleeding the clutch as you would bleeding the breaks.

Q#2
Check to A/C fuse. If the fuse is no good replace it.

If it is not the fuse, check the fuse under the HOOD.
That's basically about it. If these don't solve the problem get back with me.
