Nissan Repair: ignition switch & neutral safety switch, neutral safety switch, functions work

Question
I have to jiggle ignition key in & out & around when in the start position for solenoid to kick in to start engine. Someone said the neutral safety switch needs adjusting. The automatic transmission was replaced 2 yrs ago. All other ignition switch functions work.

What is the most likely problem with my 95 Altima
& where would the neutral adjusment be?

Answer
Ernest,

I can't tell you where the neutral adjust is.  But you might want to check into a new ignition, since you have to jiggle it to turn.

However if it does turn fine, it still could be something in that switch.

But I can't narrow it down, unless I was into it.

Sorry not much help.  Somethings I just have to do with "On'HANDS".
