Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: fuel pump change, buick lasabre, injector pulse

Question
I changed a fuel pump in a 1997 Buick LaSabre. Now when I turn my key on I hear the pump pump up and when I turn the key off it will do it again and the car will not start. Can you help me figure out this problem for me.      Thank you.

You need to figure out if you have
1)Fuel, proper pressure and injector pulse
2) fire AT the plugs
3) proper compression
This is ALL an engine needs to start.
You also will need to see the status of the "security" light on the dash.
is it on steady?
Is it blinking?
Is it on for about 7 seconds then off?
