Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Cranks long to start hot., fuel pressure regulator, auto zone

Question
I have a 2001 lesabre and it don't start until I crank it 15 seconds and then some times it stall.  I took it to auto zone they told me to put plugs in it I don't trust them.  What do you think.  Only happens when driven awhile.

Answer
Hi
I ALWAYS say, a good, major tune up NEVER hurts
(plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter).
I would say to have the fuel pressure checked. Should be 48-54 psi.
I would also check the fuel pressure regulator. When they leak down it COULD cause this problem.
I Hope this helps.
