Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: How to run extra wire through firewall., rubber grommet, aftermarket stereo

I want to install a ham radio in my 1998 Olds Bravada. Where in the firewall could I pull 2 10 guage wires thru? It has a V6 with AC. The radio, on high power, can draw 12-15 amps when transmitting. I want connect to the battery direct.

My First advice would be to take it to a GOOD  aftermarket  stereo/sound installer and have them drill a hole in firewall and install a rubber grommet in the drilled hole to avoid possibility of grounding this wire.
They should also be able to assist in placement of cables.
If this is not a viable option, I would find a location on the passanger side to drill hole (battery on that side) run wire straight underhood, to avoid having wires run all over underhood.
