Steering Column Repair: 1991 Buick Lesabre, ball bearings, buick lesabre

Question
I replaced the ignition cylinder in this car.  Now, the steering wheel moves all about!  The 'bearing' as they called it behind the spring kind of fell apart?  It was like a small plastic holder with 14 small ball bearings in it.  I cannot find a place that sells or has any knowledge of this bearing.  Is this replaced with the rack and pinion bearing kit?  I work for the company that owns NAPA and they don't even have an idea!  HELP!

No problem.  This is a very common bearing to break and cause the looseness you are experiencing.
Our company sells these as well as the crown and race retainer that fits over it, however we only have 2 bearings left.
