Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Seat Removal, buick park avenue, split bench

Question
Car: 2001 Buick Park Avenue, 60/40 split bench front seat
Problem: Want to remove driver side front seat to see if I can figure out why seat goes back & forth but not up & down even though I can hear the motors running.
Omly bolt I see is on the back of the outboard track and looks like it needs a special star shaped tool to remove.
Any advice appreciated.

Answer
Hi
I THINK the bolt size is a T-40 or T-45 Torx bit.
There is one bolt through the floor on the inboard side track and the bolt for the outboard side track goes through the rail (the "side" of the track).
After both bolts are removed the lift the REAR of the seat up(towards the front of car) and pull the front of tracks out. The front of tracks "hook" into the front floor. No bolts in front.
I Hope this helps.
Good Luck
