Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: blower fan wont shut off, relay switch, blower fan

Question
I have a 1994 Lesabre. Several months ago after shutting the engine off I noticed the air conditioner fan blower was still running. It finally stopped, and gave me no more trouble until yesterday. Again, cut off the ignition switch (which is not loose or worn) and the air conditioner fan keeps running. Someone said it might be a relay switch, and showed me a bunch of them under a plastic lid at the top center of the firewall. For now, I've simply unplugged the wiring to the fan motor. Does this sound like a relay switch problem to you, and if so, which relay switch do I need to replace?

Thank you!

Larry

Answer
Hello Larry,
Yes, it sounds like a relay sticking.
The cover where the relays are should be marked, but even if it isn't, you can feel them to see if one seems hotter than the others.
You can remove them, and even swap the one with the same part number, like the blower fan, and the cooling fan, and the a/c compressor.
