Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Engine Sponginess and Hesitation, oldsmobile silhouette, sequential fuel injection

Question
Van,
Thanks for the answer my fault for not saying I had replaced the fuel filter, wires plugs as well as the o2 sensor. I am wondering if it could be an intake leak. It seems to be burning alot of fuel I went from 25+ mpg to 19 mpg. I will keep you informed if I find any major breakthrough
Thank You
KC

-----Question-----
I have a 2000 Oldsmobile Silhouette with a 3.4 engine with 80,000 miles on it . I have replace the Ignition Module and coils as well as the ecm, tps and iacv. It will cruise along on flat roads at 65 to 70 with no problem but any slight grade at all it has to shift down. There is just no power. I can't pass anyone because if you jump on the throttle it will go to about 4000 rpm and about 40mph and thats it. There are no error codes set.You have to ease it up to 65 mph. Any load at all and you can forget it. It idles fine, it starts fine. In park you can even raise the RPM's to 3500 and it is as smooth as silk. So what do I change next?
EGR, Convertor, Fuel Pump I am at a loss
Thanks for your Help
-----Answer-----
Replace fuel filter. Possibly check the fuel pressure.

Answer
OK...still need to test the fuel pressure.
You don't say what type of injection system it has.
If it has what is called Central Sequential Fuel Injection, there is what is called a spyder inside the intake manifold, connected to poppet valves with plastic lines.
If one of them breaks or comes off, it will dump fuel inside the manifold, and lower the pressure also.
The low pressure is a symptom.

Rebuilt injector assemblies are available.

I'm just not sure what your car has.
