Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 89 olds, crankshaft sensor, scan tool

I have A 89 3.8 and the #3 injector will not fire. Have tryed diffrent injectors still no luck. there is power to the plug. Have crossed over from other cyilanders and will fire. Help

What fires the injector is the ECM completing the ground.
I would trace that wire from that injector back to the ECM, and check continuity of the wire, and condition of the connections.
Then, if the wires are good, a scan tool connected would be able to read the signal for each injector.
If that one isn't being sent a signal, it could be a crankshaft sensor problem, or the ecm.

But check the wire first.
